42 held from city college hostel

The police in a drive detained 42 people along with weapons from a hostel of the capital's Mirpur Government Bangla College early Wednesday. Darussalam Police Station officer-in-charge Rafiqul Islam said a team of police during a raid from 10:00 pm Tuesday to 12:30am Wednesday had conducted the search in all rooms of a hostel of the college. -UNB
