43 Assam Muslims killed over vote

At least 43 people have been killed and many others are still missing after ethnic violence in the Indian state of Assam, which has been linked to the country's ongoing election.
Separatist militants are believed to have deliberately targeted Muslims, who they accused of voting for a candidate opposed to their demands. Hundreds of people have fled to refugee camps since the attacks on 1 May.
But there has been little sympathy for the victims, with some calling for them to be deported, according to news agencies.
