43 \\\'drug mules\\\' arrested in city

Police in their anti-drug drives arrested 43 suspected drug dealers from the capital in 24 hours till 6am on Thursday.
Sources at the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Headquarters said police conducted drives in Ramna, Lalbagh, Wari, Tejgaon, Mirpur and Gulshan areas from 6am on Wednesday.
During the drives, the law enforcers arrested the 43 people for their alleged involvement in illegal drug trading.
Police also recovered 877 Yaba tablets, 56 bottles of Phensidyl syrup, 1247 sachets of heroin (Brown sugar), 101.8 kg cannabis and 388 beer cans from their possession.
