44 AF personnel get honorary commission

A total of 44 Armed Forces (AF) personnel, including 36 from Bangladesh Army and eight from Bangladesh Navy, were granted honorary commission and promotion on the occasion of the Victory Day, reports UNB.
Of them, 13 honorary lieutenants were promoted to the rank of honorary captain in the active list of Bangladesh Army. On the other hand, 23 master warrant officers of Bangladesh Army were promoted to the rank of honorary captain and eight master chief petty officers of Bangladesh Navy to honorary sub-lieutenant.
These honorary promotion and honorary commission will be effective from December 16, an ISPR press release said Monday.
