44th convocation of DU on April 7

The 44th convocation of Dhaka University (DU) will be held on April 7, reports BSS.
President Professor Dr Iajuddin Ahmed, who is also chancellor of the university, is expected to attend the function as the chief guest. Language veteran Abdul Matin will attend it as the convocation speaker.
The authorities of the university have decided to confer Doctor of Laws (Honoris Causa) degrees on two language veterans - - Gaziul Haque and Abdul Matin -- at the convocation.
