45 bodies found, 27 handed over

So far 45 bodies of passengers travelling in the sunken vessel Pinak-6 have been recovered from various places downstream of the Padma and other rivers.
Of them, 27 have been identified and handed over to families, Munshiganj Deputy Correspondent Saiful Hasan Badal told reporters Saturday afternoon, according to a news agency.
Pinak-6 went down with 350 passengers on board in the Padma on Aug 4 near the Mawa ferry terminal. The launch is still missing.
Bodies were recovered on the first day from a place near the site the tragedy. From the next day till Saturday, bodies have been found at spots as far as the mouth of the river.
On Saturday, the remains of Ahmad Hossain, 42, from Bhanga, Faridpur, and a child named Moeen, 3, were found in Bhola.
Earlier, the body of Moeen's mother Roksana Begum, 30, was found in Hijla, Barisal. The three bodies were handed over to their families, the deputy commissioner said.
The body of an unidentified child was found in the Dhaleswari River.
The authorities have buried 12 bodies that could not be identified. Another four are still kept at the Pachchar Primary School in Shibchar, Madaripur.
Of the bodies recovered, 16 are of women, 13 of men and 14 of children.
By the administration's account, 122 people were still missing, the deputy commissioner said.
