45,000 hectares may remain uncultivated

SIRAJGANJ, Oct 22 (UNB): Some 45,000 hectares of land may remain uncultivated in nine upazilas of the district during the current season as the recent floods affected the lands in two phases.
Department of Agricultural Extension (DAE) sources said there are some 56,124 hectares of arable land in the district.
