46 held in city under Operation Devil Hunt

Police arrested 46 individuals from different places of the capital within 24 hours on Sunday during a special drive conduced under Operation Devil Hunt Phase-2.
Deputy Commissioner of DMP Talebur Rahman said the drives were carried out by Jatrabari, Mugda, Rupnagar, Banani, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, and Bangshal police stations.
Of the total arrestees, 17 individuals were nabbed from Jatrabari area while 11 from Mugda, eight from Rupnagar, four from Banani, four from Sher-e-Bangla Nagar and two from Bangshal. The arrestees were sent to the jail, he added.
