465 more BD workers to return today

Some 465 Bangladeshi workers who were employed in Libya will return home early today (Thursday) by a chartered plane, officials said in Dhaka Wednesday night, reports UNB. On Wednesday a total of 689 workers arrived in different batches from Egypt and Tunisia where they fled from violence-ridden Libya. Of the 689 workers, 34 arrived by Gulf Air early morning, 520 by three chartered planes in the afternoon and 135 by Emirates late evening. International Organisation for Migrants (IOM) is coordinating the repatriation of the Bangladeshi workers from Libya.
