4th anniversary of IGCC, Dhaka Friday

The Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre in Dhaka is going to celebrate its fourth anniversary  Friday. The Centre was inaugurated on Mar 11, 2010.
Bangladesh’s theatre troupe Natyajan will stage Rabindranath Tagore’s comedy ‘Sheshrakkhya’ at the National Museum auditorium at 6:30 pm on Friday, marking the day. The entry is free, according to the Centre.
Indira Gandhi Cultural Centre is known for hosting different cultural activities from music and dances of different genres and forms, to poetry reading, art exhibitions and film retrospectives regularly.
It also attracts hundreds of Bangladeshi students every year to its classes on Hindustani Classical Vocal Music, Sitar, Manipuri Dance, Bharatnatyam Dance, Yoga, Painting and Hindi language which take place regularly in its premises at Dhanmondi and Gulshan. Natyajan group staged the comedy in several cities including New Delhi, Lucknow and Kolkata, according to a news agency.
