4th convocation of DIU today

Daffodil International University (DIU) will hold its 4th convocation today (Thursday) at Ashulia permanent campus, said a press release.
Mr Nurul Islam Nahid, MP, Minister for Education, will preside over the convocation ceremony and confer the degree.
Dr Achyuta Samanata, an internationally acknowledged social worker and founder of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), KIMS and KIIT University, Bhubaneshwar, Orissa, India will be present on the occasion as the Convocation Speaker.
As per approval of the Honourable President and Chancellor of Daffodil International University Md Abdul Hamid, Dr Achyuta Samanata will be conferred Honorary D. Liit. (Honoris Causa) at the convocation. Daffodil International University is the only private university which introduced "Emeritus Professor" position in 2011.
