5 caught red-handed while forging in DU entry test

The invigilators at the entry test of the ‘Ga’ unit of Dhaka University caught red-handed five admission seekers while forging in the examination with the help of mobile phones in different examination centres on Friday. The incident happened during the admission tests for the 1st Year (Honours) in the morning. Campus sources said, the authorities handed over the five admission seekers to police for adopting unfairmeans in the tests. The five had been caught from exam centers at Badrunnesa College, Ideal College, Home Economics College and Government Laboratory High School and College. The test for the 1st year honours under ‘Ga’ unit (Business Studies Faculty) for the academic sessions 2014-2015 were held from 10:00am to 11am in different exam centres of DU across the city. This year, 49,976 students applied for 1170 seats under the ‘Ga’ unit, according to private TV channels.
