5 crude bombs blasted in front of office of Khaleda

Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) men, who failed to find their names in the newly formed committee of the BNP’s student wing, now blasted five crude bombs in front of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office Wednesday night. Witnesses said the dissident JCD group hurled the crude bombs at the BNP chief’s office around 10:15pm when she was present at the office. However, no one was injured the incident, according to a news agency.
Earlier in the evening, three more crude bombs exploded in front of BNP’s Nayapaltan central office.
The dissident JCD group brought out a procession under the banner of ‘Chhatra Samaj’ in front of the BNP office around 5pm, chanting slogans against the new JCD committee. Being chased by police, the JCD men fled the scene at one stage.
