5 crushed to death by train

At least five people were killed and 25 others injured as they fell off a freight train and crushed by it in Panchbibi upazila in Joypurhat on Thursday afternoon. Three of the deceased were identified as Sadequl of Puranpoil area, and Azahar and Jewel of Khonjpur in the district. Although deputy commissioner of the district Mohammad Yasin confirmed the death of five people, the Fire Brigade put the toll at six, according to a news agency.
