5 held with fake currency notes in Rajshahi

The members of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested five people along with fake currency notes amounting to Tk 183,000 in the city on Sunday night. The arrestees were identified as Enamul Haque, 35, Razzak Ali,32, Jamal, 30, Sattar, 32, and Sabuj, 30. Nur Hossain, inspector of City Detective Branch, said on secret information, the detectives conducted a drive at a house in Chhotobangram Uttarpara at about 11:30pm and arrested the five. Later, the DB men recovered 183 fake notes of Tk 1,000 denomination from their possession. A case was filed, according to UNB.
