5 held with firearms in N’ganj

NARAYANGANJ, Oct 17 (UNB): Police in separate drives arrested five people and recovered two foreign pistols, two magazines and five bullets in Bandar Upazila Thursday night and Friday morning.
The arrestees were identified as Wahiduzzaman alias Sujan Mollah, 36, Imran Khan, 42, Selim, 44, Gopal Bhoumick Milton, 37, and Sazzad Hossain, 34.
In another incident, police conducted a search in a passenger bus at Jangalia on Dhaka-Chittagong highway and arrested Gopal and Sajjad along with a foreign pistol, a magazine and two bullets around 11:30am on Friday.
