5 hurt in Bogra bomb blasts

At least five people, including three policemen, were injured in bomb explosions in a Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) infighting on Temple Road in Bogra town on Wednesday evening. Witnesses said an altercation ensued between two rival groups of BCL over the newly-formed committees in four educational institutions in the district town. At one stage, three bombs were exploded in front of the BCL office at Temple Road around 8:00pm. At least five people, including three cops, were injured in the bomb blasts. Later, police fired several gunshots to bring the situation under control, according to a news agency.
