5 killed, 30 hurt in Comilla, M\\\'singh road accidents

At least five people were killed in Comilla and Mymensingh road accidents Friday, reports UNB
In Comilla, three people were killed and 25 others injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Sonakanda in Muradnagar Upazila early Friday.
The deceased were identified as Shah Alam (35), son of Motaleb, Mohammad Alauddin, son of Kashem Master and Motaleb (70) --  all hailed from Takipur village in Raipura Upazila of Narsingdi.
Nazim Uddin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Muradnagar Police Station, said the Narsingdi-bound bus carrying devotees from Sonakanda Darbar Sharif to their home fell into a roadside ditch when its driver lost control over the steering, leaving two of them dead on the spot and 26 others injured.
Among the injured, 11 were taken to Muradnagar Upazila Health complex where another succumbed to his injuries.
Police recovered the bodies and seized the bus.
In Mymensingh, Two people were killed and five others injured as a bus rammed a pickup van at Meherabari in Bhaluka Upazila Friday morning.
