5 killed in accidents in 3 dists

At least five people were killed on Friday in three separate accidents in 3 districts including one in capital city, reports UNB.
In Dhaka a man was killed after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on the Hanif flyover in Wari police station area of the capital on Friday.
The identity of the victim, aged approximately 60, could not be known yet.
An unknown vehicle hit on the flyover around 2:30pm, leaving him seriously injured.
Later, passers-by rescued him and took him to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, where doctors declared him dead at 2:50 pm.
Md Bachchu Mia, inspector-in-charge of DMCH Police outpost, said the body was kept at the hospital morgue for post-mortem.
The matter has been informed to the concerned police station, added Bachchu Mia.
In Faridpur two passengers on a three-wheeler have been killed after the vehicle was rammed by a bus in Faridpur. At least nine others were injured in the accident.
The incident occurred around 12:30am on Friday in the Modhukhali Bazar area on the Dhaka-Magura Highway, said Md Salauddin Chowdhury, chief of Karimpur Highway Police.
The dead have been identified as Sumon Ali (38), and Siraj Howladar (60). Sumon hailed from Jhalakathi and Siraj from Barishal Sadar.
"A three-wheeler was headed from Modhukhali Bazar to Gondardia and was changing from the Faridpur-bound lane to the Magura-bound lane when a Dhaka-bound Purbasha Paribahan bus left its own lane and rammed the three-wheeler in the Magura-bound lane," said OC Salauddin. "Two people were killed on the spot."
In Tangail two people were killed in a collision between a human hauler and a car in Tangail's Madhupur on Friday.
Six others were injured in the accident, said Molla Azizur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Madhupur Police Station.
The identities of the deceased couldn't be ascertained immediately.
OC Azizur Rahman said that the private car was heading towards Tangail from Madhupur Friday morning.
Around 9:30am, the private car collided with the han hauler coming from the opposite direction in Malauri area and the car caught fire.
A passenger of the human hauler died on the spot and seven others from both vehicles sustained injuries.
