5 more Rab men held

NARAYANGANJ, Aug 27 (UNB): Police Wednesday arrested five more members of Raid Action Battalion (Rab) in connection with the sensational seven-murder case.
Police said Emdadul Haque, Arif Hossain, Hira Mia, Bilal Hossain and Abu Tayab, all members of Rab-11, were arrested from different parts of the district Wednesday morning.
They were later produced before the court of Senior Judicial Magistrate Chadni Rupom seeking a 10-day remand, but the court ordered their eight-day remand.
On April 27, Narayanganj panel mayor Nazrul Islam, his three associates and driver were abducted from Fatullah  area in Narayanganj city.
