5 of a family burnt in gas cylinder blast in Sylhet

SYLHET, Aug 10 (BSS): Five members of a family, including two children, were burnt in a gas cylinder explosion in Sylhet's Shahparan area on Saturday night.
The burnt victims are Parvez, 38, his wife Farhana, 28, their elder son Mohammad, 6, and younger son Marwan, 2, and relative Hena Akhter, 40.
They were admitted to the National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery (NIBPS) around 12:30 pm on Sunday.
The explosion occurred around 10.30 pm due to a cylinder leakage.
They were first taken to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and Hospital and then shifted to NIBPS in Dhaka for better treatment.
