5 parliamentary panels formed

Parliament has constituted the Business Advisory Committee and four standing committees. They were formed on Wednesday, a week after the new assembly went into session. Speaker Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury has been made chairman of the 15-member Advisory Committee. The four other panels are Standing Committee on Rules of Procedure, Petition Committee, House Committee, and Standing Committee on the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, according to a news agency.
