5 unions of Karnafuli thana demands inclusion in CCC

CHITTAGONG, Nov 3: People of five unions under Karnafuli thana have sought inclusion of their locality under the administration of Chittagong City Corporation (CCC).
The union councils are Char Patharghata, Charlakhya, Juldha, Shikalbaha and Baro Uthan.
In a memorandum addressed to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina they have demanded an immediate government circular in this regard.
The memo was handed over to the divisional commissioner MAN Siddique under the banner of City Corporation Development Council Karnafuli Thana.
Two former UP chairmen of the locality pioneered the initiative.
