50 hurt as bus, truck collide

SAVAR, Mar 21: At least 50 people, including some Dhaka University students, were injured as a picnic bus collided head-on with a truck at Ashulia on Dhaka-Aricha highway on Friday morning. Ashulia thana officer-in-charge Badrul Alam said the Mankganj-bound double-decker bus collided head-on with the goods-laden truck at around 11am, leaving 50 picnickers injured. Among the injured, 28 people were rushed to Enam Medical College Hospital. — UNB
