50 villagers down with diarrhoea

MANIKGANJ, Apr 20 (UNB): Diarrhoea is spreading fast in Mahabbatpur Dighipara of Khetlal upazila and suburbs with 50 more people affected Tuesday for using pond water for household work. District Civil Surgeon Dr Mozammel Haque visited the affected area and formed a five-member team led by Medical Officer Dr Samsuzzaman to treat the diarrhea patients. Local said the villagers were forced to use the pond water in the wake of water level of tubewells going down this summer.
