500 spots in DSCC for slaughtering sacrificial animals

The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has earmarked 500 spots under its administrative areas for slaughtering sacrificial animals during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha. The city dwellers have been asked to slaughter their sacrificial animals in the specific places spread across 57 wards of the DSCC. Besides, the devotees will be allowed to sacrifice animals at permanent slaughterhouses. Legal action will be taken if anyone violates the city corporation’s directives. The DSCC will also take preparations to keep the cattle slaughtering places hygienic and environment-friendly, according to a news agency.
