50,000 Yaba seized in Teknaf

Over 50,000 pieces of Yaba tablets have been recovered in Teknaf Upazila of Cox’s Bazar district. Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel seized contraband tablets in Najirpara area under the upazila on Friday late night. BGB sources said being tipped off, a team of the border force raided Najirpara village around 11:45pm and seized 50,000 Yaba tablets. When contacted, BGB Headquarters public relation officer Mohsin Reza confirmed the seizure. However, none was arrested in this connection, according to a news agency.
