500,000 Yaba pills seized

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel seized a large consignment of Yaba pills on Monday in the outskirts of Narayanganj city. More than 500,000 Yaba tablets were seized from six persons in Siddhirganj Upazila of Narayanganj, said RAB-2 official Major Syed Salauddin Mahmud. He said that they have been monitoring the gang of Yaba traders led by Manjur Alam for quite some time now. Manjur Alam is among the six arrested on Monday. A total of 540,000 Yaba pills, Tk344,000 in cash, mobile phones, passports and a car was confiscated during the raid, according to bdnews24.com.
