50th anniversary of Kochi Kanchar Mela observed

Kendriyo Kochi Kanchar Mela (KKKM), one of the oldest children's organisations in the country, Friday observed its 50th anniversary in festive mood, reports BSS. State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Dr Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury inaugurated the anniversary programme chaired by KKKM Director and Chairman of Bangladesh Krishi Bank, Khandaker Ibrahim Khaled. The minister paid rich tributes to the sponsors of the first national level organization devoted to establishing children's rights. She said the organization is relentlessly trying to promote Bangli culture among the children.
