53m children given MR vaccines this year: Nasim

Health Minister Mohammad Nasim told parliament that over 53 million children were given MR vaccines this year, according to a news agency.
Replying to a scripted question from Didarul Alam MP (Chittagong-4), the minister said Wednesday a total of 53,644,603 children, from 9 months to below 15 years of age, were given MR vaccines from January 25 to February 13 this year.
In response to a tabled starred question from Sohrab Uddin (Kishoreganj-2), the Health Minister said the Directorate General of Drug Administration continues its drive against fraud herbal institutions.
