5th phase of upazila polls March 31

The 5th phase of upazila polls will be held on March 31, the last date for submitting nomination is March 2 and March 6 is the withdrawl date. The elections in 97 Upazilas took place in the first phase Wednesday.Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Rakibuddin Ahmad announced the schedule of the fifth phase of Upazila polls on Thursday.
The second phase of the polls will cover 117 Upazilas on Feb 27.A total of 83 Upazilas will go polls in the third phase on Mar 15 and the fourth phase covering 92 Upazilas will take place on March 23, according to private TV channels.
