5th prosecution witness testifies

The fifth prosecution witness testified Wednesday in the Pilkhana killing case, reports BSS. In presence of Defence lawyers the fifth witness Lt Col Mukim Sarker testified at the makeshift special court set up at a field adjacent to Alia Madrasah at Bakshibazar in the old city. After completion of the cross-examination, District and Sessions Judge Zohurul Haque fixed November 14 for next hearing. The defence lawyers have already cross-examined first prosecution witness and complainant of the case, Nabojoti Khisha, second witness Md Kamal Uddin, officer-in-charge of New Market police station, and third witness Lt Col Abu Tasleem, who was posted at Pilkhana headquarters during the mutiny.
