6 Bangladeshi nominees at \\\'The Bobs\\\'

Votes have started coming in from across the world for The Bobs, German media organisation Deutsche Welle’s annual competition on online activism. The international jury has short-listed 154 nominees in 14 language divisions – six for Bengali – for The Bobs 2014. Of the Bangladeshi entities, ‘Muktomona’ has been nominated in the best blog category, ‘Braille Project’ in innovation, ‘Ganajagaran Mancha’ in social activism, Russell Parvez’s blog in Reporters Without Boarders, ‘Women Chapter’ in the global media forum and search engine ‘Pipilika’ in innovative and basic categories, a Deutsche Welle media release has said, according to bdnews24.com.
