6 bombs recovered in Jessore, 2 held

JESSORE: Police in a drive arrested two miscreants and recovered six powerful bombs in Sadar upazila Friday.
The arrestees were identified as Rabiul Islam alias Bosta Billal, son of Ajgar Ali, hailing from Hatcharipara of Kholadanga, and Mamun, son of Abdul Haq of Stadiumpara in the district town.
On secret information, a team of police arrested the duo from their respective residences in the early hours.
Based on their information, police recovered the six bombs wrapped in red tape from a bamboo cluster adjacent to a pond at Hatcharipara around 12:45pm, according to a news agency.
