6-day BGB-BSF meeting begins in Delhi

A six-day meeting between the top officials of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) and Border Security Force (BSF) of India began in New Delhi on Sunday. Bangladesh foreign ministry sources said delegations of the two neighbouring countries will discuss about border security, prevention of smuggling, human trafficking, intrusion and forged currency smuggling. BGB Director General (DG) Major General Aziz Ahmed is leading the Bangladesh delegation while BSF DG DK Pathak is heading the Indian side, the sources said. Meetings will continue till August 7, according to a news agency.
