6 dopers arrested in Dhaka

Police arrested six members of a dopers’ gang and seized two microbuses at the city’s Mirpur on Friday night. The arrested were identified as Farhad, 29, Abu Taleb, 29, Shahin, 22, Liton, 25, Habib, 33, and Babu, 25. Tipped off, a team of Pallabi Police Station, led by its sub-inspector Jahir Raihan, conducted a drive at Mipur-11 and arrested the six dopers from in front of Yean Thai restaurant around 8:30pm while they were staying inside two microbuses, said officer-in-charge of the police station Dadan Fakir. The police team also seized the microbuses and recovered dope and sharp weapons from the vehicles, the OC added, according to UNB.
