6 held with Tk 4.5m cocaine in city

The Detective Branch of police arrested six people along with six pounds of cocaine worth Tk 45 million (4.5 crore) from the city's Nikunju area Thursday. The arrestees were drug peddlers identified as Md Kamrul Alam (40), and Md Abu Taher Mandol alias Joba (30), and their associates- pharmacy owner Md Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan (46), Kazi Khaliullah Mahmud (40), Md Mamun Hawlader (34). — Agencies
