6 hurt in clash

At least six people, including five ansar members, were injured as the Korail slum dwellers clashed with the ansar members in city’s Mohakhali area on Monday. Sub inspector Mahmudul Hasan of Banani Police Station said the residents of Korail slum attacked the Ansar members with brick chips when they tried to prevent the slum dwellers from making an illegal room on road around 9am which triggered a clash. Five Ansar members—Feroz, Shimul, Abdul Aziz, Saidul Islam and Mannan and a slum dweller Jasim—were injured during the calsh.The Ansar members were admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital while Jasim took first aid at a local clinic, according to UNB.
