6 hurt in Munshiganj road accident

At least six people were injured when a bus plunged into a roadside ditch at Sashampur on Dhaka-Mawa highway in Sreenagar upazila of Munshiganj district on Friday. Hasan, sergeant of Hashara police camp, said a Mawa-bound bus of ‘Apon Paribahan’ plunged into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over steering, leaving six passengers injured. Of the injured, one was whisked off to Mitford Hospital as his condition deteriorated while the others were given first aid. Police seized the bus but could not arrest anyone, according to a news agency.
