6 Jamaat men among 67 held in Rangpur

RANGPUR, June 29 (BSS): A total of 67 persons, including six activists of Jamaat-Shibir, were arrested in separate drives here Sunday.
Of them, the Jamaat-Shibir men were arrested in connection with various cases filed against them and for their alleged involvement with conducting subversive activities, vandalism and arson and other crimes in recent times in the district.
The arrestees were Jamaat activists Mossarraf Hossain, Afsar Ali, Manik, Sada Mian, Malek and Borhan Uddin of different villages under Mithapukur Upazila.
