6 Jamaat-Shibir activists held in Chittagong

CHITTAGONG, Sept 30 (BSS): Chittagong district police arrested six activists of Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir from different areas of Lohagarha Upazila early Monday.
The arrestees were identified as Sarwar Alam, 25, Mohammad Yousuf, 44, Nazrul Islam, 23, Abdus Sukkur, 28, Abdur Rashid, 45 and Mohammad Hossain,46.
A team of Lohagara thana police conducted a series of drive in different areas of the upazila and arrested six activists of Jamaat-Shibir in connection with a case of sabotage on Monday, said Sub Inspector Abdul Awal of Lohagarah thana.
