6 of a family sustain burn injuries

Six members of a family sustained burn injuries in a fire that broke out in Fatulla area in Narayanganj city on Saturday. The victims were identified as Tariran Begum, 60, her husband Aziza, 65, their daughters Tania, 16, and Tanni, 12, son Takiran, 9, granddaughter Mahmuda, 7. Police and local sources said the fire originated from an explosion at a house at Barouvog under Fatulla police station around 5:00am, leaving them burnt. The injured were rushed to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in critical condition, according to a news agency.
