6 secys transferred, given new postings

In a reshuffle in the administration, six secretaries have been transferred and given new postings, reports UNB.
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a gazette notification in this regard Wednesday.
It said Land Appeal Board chairman Mohammad Shafiul Alam has been made Land Ministry Secretary while Religious Affairs Ministry Secretary Kazi Habibul Awal made Defence Ministry Secretary.
Defence Secretary Khandaker M Asaduzzaman has been made Science and Technology Ministry Secretary while Bangladesh Public Service Commission Secretary Chowdhury Md Babul Hasan made Religious Affairs Ministry Secretary.
Foreign Affairs Ministry acting Secretary Dr Abdur Rab Hawladar has been made chairman of Land Appeal Board while acting Secretary of Science and Technology Ministry AKM Amir Hossain made acting Secretary of Bangladesh Public Service Commission.
