6 workers die in Comilla road accident

At least six people have been killed and an unspecified number injured in a road accident on the Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Maynamoti in Comilla district on Monday morning. Identitities of the deceased could not be known. Maynamoti Highway police sources said the victims are construction workers. Maynamoti Highway police OC Abdul Awal confirmed that six workers were killed in the accident. Hospital sources said three people, injured in the accident, were admitted to hospital. The accident took place in Courtbari Bishwaraod area early in the morning, according to a news agency.
