60 injured in AL, 4-party clashes in Pabna

More than 60 people were injured in two separate clashes between supporters of Awami League (AL) and 4-party alliance candidates at Sathia and Sujanagar in Pabna Saturday evening. Some 50 activists were wounded when attacked allegedly by AL workers at Gouri while returning in procession after attending election meeting of Jamaat chief Maulana Matiur Rahman Nizami at Sathia. Another clash took place when AL activists going to attend a public meeting of party candidate AK Khandker at Sujanagar came under attack allegedly by supporters of 4-party alliance. — UNB
