60th death anniv of Murtaza Reza Chowdhury today

The 60th death anniversary of Murtaza Reza Chowdhury will be observed at Mogbazar in the city today (Wednesday), says a press release.
He was a former member of Bengal and Pakistan Assembly, former State Minister of Finance, Central Government of Pakistan, Deputy High Commissioner to Kolkata, founder of Humayun Reza High School, Chapainawabganj, Brothers Union Club, Dhaka.
He left behind his wife Syeda Rokeya Akhtar Chowdhury, five daughters and five sons.
His family members request all to say a prayer for him.
