615 tubewells to be installed

PIROJPUR, Oct 26 (UNB): Some 615 hand driven tubewells will be installed in four upazilas of the district in the current fiscal year.
Of the total, 25 tubewells will be set up in Sadar Upazila, 261 in Swarupkati, 109 in Bhandaria and 220 in Mothbaria upazilas.
Besides, 179 deep tubewells will also be installed in the district with a view to ensuring supply of drinking water among the rural people.
