62 Jamaat-Shibir men held in Rajshahi

Police arrested 62 Jamaat-Shibir men from a mosque at Chak Chhatari in Bagha upazila of Rajshahi district on Sunday night. Aminur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Bagha Police Station said, tipped off a team of police raided Chak Chhatari Mosque in the area and arrested the Jamaat-Shibir men while they were holding a meeting around 9:00pm. Bagha Municipality Unit Jamaat Ameer Saiful Islam, office secretary Emaj Uddin among the arrestees. Police said Bagha municipality unit Jamaat ameer Saiful Islam was wanted in a case for subversive activities, according to a news agency.
