6,432 hac brought under winter vegetable farming

BRAHMANBARIA, Dec 2 (UNB): Some 6,432 hectares of land have been brought under winter vegetable cultivation in the district in the current Rabi season.
Department of Agricultural Extension source said different kinds of winter vegetables, including tomato, cauliflower, cabbage, spinach, and eggplant, will be cultivated in eight upazilas of the district.
Some 3,550 hectares of land have already been cultivated, the source said.
