68 take part in training course organised by BLFCA

Bangladesh Leasing and Finance Companies Association (BLFCA) has organised the sixth foundation course for entry level officers at the BIAM auditorium, New Eskaton, in the city Monday.
Square Group of Companies Chairman Samson H Chowdhury inaugurated the three-day training course as the chief guest.
BLFCA Chairman and IDLC Finance Limited Managing Director Anis A Khan presented a crest to the chief guest to commemorate the occasion.
Also present in the function were BLFCA Vice-chairman and LankaBangla Finance Limited Managing Director Mafizuddin Sarker, BLFCA Training Sub-Committee Chairman and Union Capital Limited Managing Director Hafiz Ahmed, chief executive officers/MDs and senior officials of financial institutions.
A total of 68 officers from the financial institutions have taken part in the training course, at which the speakers are drawn from a cross-section of senior executives of the financial institutions and banks.
Samson H Chowdhury, in his speech, exhorted the young officers to prepare better for leading the nation to progress and prosperity in the future.
He also requested the BLFCA to include principles of corporate governance, corporate social responsibility and ethical standards in the curriculum in future courses.
